Nicole De Freitas is the CEO & Managing Director of Innovative Power Systems Limited (IPS), where she uses her wealth of experience, technical and soft skills, to grow the business with a focus on quality, people and her customers.

Nicole has spent the past 28 years in Operations and Technology, with most of that time in senior management roles in the financial services industry (internationally and locally) where she was responsible for the leadership, management and vision of support areas including Information and Communications Technology, Shared Services, Project Management, Facilities Management Services, Systems and Procedures, Process Reengineering, Security Services and Operations Support.

Mrs. De Freitas holds an Undergraduate Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science (First Class Honours) and an Advanced Diploma in Management Information Systems with distinction from The University of the West Indies. She earned her Executive Masters in Business Administration, with distinction at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, and also successfully completed the Ivey Leadership Program with the Richard Ivey School of Business – University of Western Ontario.

An avid supporter of people, Nicole has led and participated in several Women’s Network Groups in the capacity of Chairperson, Panel speaker and Mentor. She is also a singing member of the Lydian Singers choir.
